MKR RACING

Saturday was a busy day at the Shady Dale Rodeo Grounds, as MKR Racing held go-kart races in several divisions. A large crowd turned out sometime during the day to drive, watch the races, or just hang out and eat the concessions and shop with the vendors. Racers from North Carolina joined the local racers, and there was a lawn mower race. A considerable amount of money was raised for Aubrie Gordon, a teenager battling cancer. The photo shows Aubrie taking a victory lap around the track, signifying a victory over cancer. MKR will race again Saturday, Dec. 2 at the Shday Dale Rodeo Grounds.
