RARE FIND

Owen Brady of Monticello was hunting in Wheatley, Ark. last week when he killed this goose that was banded and collared in Barrow, Alaska. The goose traveled 3,407.75 miles! The goose was a Greater White-Fronted Goose/Speckled Belly. It is rare to kill a collared and banded goose or duck, and the guides in Arkansas were very excited! Owen also killed a banded female pintail on this trip. Banded duck/geese are like jewelry for a hunter.
