Authorities Still Seek Joseph Parr

Authorities are still looking for Joseph Lawrence Parr in connection with burglaries in the county.

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) last week announced it was looking for the man wanted in connection with several crimes in the Shady Dale area. This week, more charges are being added to the list he was already sought for. In addition, Shannon Vaughn, who was arrested last week is facing more charges.

They include theft by receiving, forgery in the first degree, theft by taking, and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Also arrested last week was Joel Keith Haddock, 41, of Monticello who is charged with three counts of theft by taking. Mr. Haddock is a former Emergency Technical Technician (EMT) for the county’s fire/rescue program, and he allegedly took money from the fire station in Monticello. He was terminated last week.

Other persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:

•Stanley Delano Hash, Jr., 54, Monticello—probation violation.

•Owen Roy Daley, Jr., 22, Conyers—probation violation.

•Bradley Lamar Gilbert, 23, Baxley—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

•Ashton Michelle Cleveland, 28, Monticello—false statements or writings; conceal facts or fraudulent documents.

•Roland Brently Beatty, 39, Monticello—civil contempt order.
