Jerry Jake Landress

Jerry Jake Landress, age 74 of Shady Dale, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2018 after a long struggle with Alzheimers.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul J. Landress.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy Landress; son, Dwain Landress; daughter, Tina Davis; mother, Nell Landress; grandchildren, Jake Landress, Jessie Landress, Tyler Landress, Austin Davis, Lexie Davis; brothers, Tim Landress, David Landress; and sister, Diane Foster.

Mr. Landress was owner of Landress Heating and Air. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on his truck. His true love was his family and he will be missed.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel with Pastor Danny Sorrells officiating; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 2, 2018 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
