Grand Jury Indicts 23

The Jasper Superior Court grand jury convened January 24 to review criminal presentments from District Attorney Stephen Bradley.

Twenty-one grand jurors reviewed the charges of 23 individuals before returning true bills on 70-plus indictments. Those indictments include the following:

Tavares Jackson, 20 counts including 10 counts of possession of a firearm by convicted felon, four counts of sale of cocaine, four counts of illegal use of communication facility, one count of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and one count of possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

Dana George, nine counts including three counts of sale of marijuana, three counts of illegal use of a communication facility, one count possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, one count possession of methamphetamine, and one count possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Becky Garrison, three counts including possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Patrick Harvard, six counts including two counts of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana more than an ounce, possession of schedule IV controlled substance, failure to wear seat safety belt, and failure to maintain lane.

Heather Ann Hulsey, five counts including two counts of possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to distribute, two counts of possession of a schedule IV controlled substance with intent to distribute, and possession of methamphetamine.

Shirley Jean Suttles, four counts of obstruction of an officer including two felonies and two misdemeanors.

Oliver Cotton, four counts including fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, obstruction of an officer, driving under the influence alcohol, and driving while license suspended.

Rodney Snow, four counts including two possession of a schedule II controlled substance and two possession of a schedule IV controlled substance.

Bart Wesley Ray, two counts possession of a firearm by convicted felon and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

Heather Ray, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

Harry Allen, three counts including theft by receiving stolen property, criminal use of an article with an altered identification mark, and involvement with motor vehicle part having identification removed.

Terry B. Johnson, three counts including criminal attempt to commit a felony, computer pornography, obscene internet contact with a child.

Shawn T. Jackson, two counts including criminal attempt to commit a felony and possession of a firearm by convicted felon.

Donrico L. Reid, two counts including driving while license suspended and possession of firearm by convicted felon.

Tameka Denise Davis, possession of marijuana more than an ounce and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Ashley Nicole Miglets, possession of methamphetamine and crossing the guard line with contraband.

Tommy McQuirter, two counts failure to register as sex offender.

Paul May, two counts including manufacture of marijuana and possession of marijuana more than an ounce.

Luis Macario Antonio, two counts aggravated assault.

Marcus Sam Croy, Jr., two counts including computer pornography and obscene internet contact with a child.

Odis Ammons, arson in the first degree.
