Several Are Arrested this Week

Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) investigated a number of incidents in the last week, including several reports of fraud, a shoplifting incident, and another count of entering an auto. That one occurred on East Washington Street Saturday.

Persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:

•Didi Joann Parker, 41, Monticello—receipt, possession or transfer of firearm by a convicted felon, criminal use of an article with altered id mark, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, possession of Schedule II controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of schedule III, IV or V controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Lori Lee Davis, 40, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Hakeel Devont Norwood, 25, Monroe—obstruction of a law enforcement officer, driving while license suspended or revoked and child support.

•Nicole Starr Anderson, 30, Covington—failure to appear (two counts).

•Kelvin Thomas Walker, 53, Eatonton—speeding, expired license, no insurance, possession of cocaine and crossing state/county guard lines with weapons/intoxicants/drugs or weapons.

•Zoe Elizabeth Conklin, 60, Atlanta—financial identity fraud.

•Tony Andrew Thurman, 52, Monticello—theft by shoplifting (two counts) and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

•Jessica Ortiz, 18, Shady Dale—unlawful conduct during a 911 call.

•Dane Michael Christiano, 28, Monticello—child support and seat belt violation.

•James Dermichael Perry, 35, Decatur—probation violation.

•Gerry Wayne Drake, 50, Shady Dale—aggravated assault.

•Tamika Ann Ammons, 38, Monticello—Jasper County Superior Court failure to appear bench warrant.

•Paul William Coursey, 48, Flovilla—Jasper County Magistrate Court failure to appear.

•Jermaine Curry, 31, Winder—probation violation.

•Clement James Abbott, 57, Jackson—order revoking bond.

•Freddie Lee Reid, 54, Newborn—failure to yield when turning left and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
