SEUSS ON THE LOOSE IS SATURDAY

The Cat in the Hat visited Miss Kay’s Childcare Center to invite children to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss on Saturday, March 3, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Jasper County High School.
Over 150 volunteers will provide games, prizes, food, and train rides to celebrate literacy in Jasper County. Seuss On The Loose is the annual fund raiser for Ferst Foundation which mails a free book each month to registered children ages birth to five.
Pictured with the Cat in the Hat are Alyiah Lynwood, Gabriel Palmer, Sophia Satterley, Carson Arrington and Jaidence Paul. Among other things, the literacy program participation helps develop the skills children need to be successful.
