Several Are Arrested Here

Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) investigated several cases of theft in the last week, including the theft of a car seat, changing table, diapers and baby clothes from an address in Ozburn Trailer Park. A shotgun and shells were reportedly taken from an address on Perimeter Road, and a resident on Elijah Johnson Road reported mail being stolen from her mailbox.

In addition, deputies responded to a shoplifting call at the Family Dollar in Monticello. Deputies also investigated what was reported as a possible vehicle theft. A person was charged with theft by receiving when a stolen license plate was recovered off a vehicle.

•Jason Leonard Loyd, 26, Oxford—sale of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

•Quintravious Montrell Jernigan, 23, Greensboro— possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and sale of methamphetamine.

•Robin Caitlin Pierce Motes, 22, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and sale of methamphetamine.

•Kiefer Wayne Wood, 24, Monticello—probation violation.

•Hannah Marie Torrens, 38, Covington—forgery-4th degree, deposit account fraud and theft by receiving stolen property.

•Contressa Lashunta Hendricks, 38, Monticello—Jasper County Magistrate Court failure to appear bench warrant.

•Cory Michael Autry, 27, Newborn—probation violation and aggravated assault.

•Timothy Dalton Wyatt, 18, Covington—theft by taking (2 counts) and probation violation.

•David Blake Ramey, Jr., 26, Monticello—probation violation.

•David Tinsley, Jr., 39, Monticello— probation violation.

•Larry Steven Wilson, 53, Monticello—criminal trespass.

•Billy Gene Watson, 32, Monticello—crossing state/county guard lines with weapons and intoxicants or drugs,

purchase/possess/manufacture/distribute/ or sale of marijuana.

•Thomas Lee Conner, 56, Mansfield—driving while license suspended or revoked.

•Christopher Lance Fowler, Jr., 28, Monticello—sale of methamphetamine.

•Marcus Mandrell Campbell, 37, Monticello—cruelty to children-1st degree, battery and criminal trespass.

•Damian Kendell Cloud, 25, Shady Dale—probation violation.
