OPENING DAY 2018

Recreation ball kicked off last week, with opening day ceremonies Saturday, beginning with a parade of teams around the fields and the entire complex. The American Legion Post 110 did a flag raising and played the national anthem. County Commissioner Bruce Henry threw out the first ball, and Recreation Director Jonathan Green thanked everyone for making recreation ball so successful. Each team was introduced with their coach(es), and ball games began at 10 a.m., and went most of the day.
