Charlotte A. Carey

It is with saddened grief that we announce the death of Charlotte A. Carey on Saturday May 12, 2018.

Charlotte was born on July 12, 1963 in Hillsboro. She later relocated to Hickory, N.C. but soon found herself back in Georgia until her untimely death. Charlotte loved Jehovah and was one of the sweetest people you would ever come in contact with.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Vera Carey, and brother, Eddie Carey.

She leaves to cherish her memories, sons, Tremain Carey (Violet) of Phoenix, Ariz., Stephen Carey of Savannah, and Phillip Shuford of Covington; brothers, Dan Carey Jr. (Patricia) of Shady Dale, Benjamin Carey (Naomi) of Hillsboro, and Leon Carey of Forsyth; sisters, Linda Shuford (Tim), Katie Mae Card of Hickory, N.C., Stacey Carey Crutchfield (Butch) of Hillsboro, Mary Ammons of Lexington, Ky. Charlotte also has one grandson Vashawn Carey of Statesville, N.C. and granddaughter Miranda Jones of Hickory, N.C. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Memorial service will be on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 13075 Hwy. 36, Covington, GA 30014 at 2 p.m.
