NO ONE HURT

Charlie Lester of Hawkinsville was traveling south on Hwy. 11 Tuesday when he failed to maintain lane at Bethel Church Road, and lost control of the tractor-trailer. The truck overturned, and the cargo spilled before it came to rest on the right side of the highway on its side, according to a report from the Georgia State Patrol. Hwy. 11 was closed to traffic for much of the afternoon while the mess was cleaned up. A passenger vehicle wrecked in the same place on Monday, and that driver was airlifted to the hospital.
