MEMORIAL DAY BBQ & MUSIC

The Jasper County Historical Foundation (JCHF) is inviting the community to BBQ & Music on the front lawn of Thomas Persons Hall on Memorial Day, May 28. This traditional holiday is a tribute to America’s men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. JCHF is serving a plate of Boston butt pork, buns, baked beans, coleslaw, dessert and tea beginning at 5:30 p. m. and will be followed by a patriotic concert performed by the Monticello Community Band at 7 p.m. Tickets for $12/plate are being sold by JCHF board members or can be purchased at the TPH office…706-468-2659. The concert is free and will begin with the American Legion Post 110 raising the flag to America’s national anthem.
