Milledgeville Man Is Arrested with Drugs

Last Saturday, June 2, at approximately 12:30 a.m. a deputy with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit made a traffic stop in the Shady Dale area. After a brief investigation the driver of the vehicle was found in possession of a significant amount of illegal drugs as well as stolen guns and a large amount of U.S. currency.
Anthony Hitchcock, 27, of Milledgeville was arrested and charged with the following: failure to maintain lane, stop sign violation, obstruction of an officer, crossing the guard lines with contraband, possession of marijuana w/ intent to distribute, trafficking Ecstasy, theft by receiving (stolen firearms), three counts; possession of suspected Xanax w/ intent to distribute, possession of counterfeit U.S. currency, possession of suspected Molly w/intent to distribute, two counts; possession of Liquid THC w/ intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine w/intent to distribute, possession of Oxycodone w/ intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, three counts, and possession of Promethazine w/intent to distribute.

•Lucious Marcus Odom, 32, Monticello—probation violation and possession of Schedule III, IV or V with intent to distribute.
•Mara Gladdis Davis, 48, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine, criminal attempt to commit a felony (two counts), possession of drug related objects and probation violation.
•Stephen Perry Wilkerson, 54, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine, criminal attempt to commit a felony (two counts), possession of drug related objects and probation violation.
•Richard Christopher Moorhouse, 23, Covington—possession of methamphetamine (two counts).
•Robert Slade Malcom, 24, Oxford—possession of methamphetamine, failure to maintain lane and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Melvin Eugene Price, 36, Brookhaven—possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, false statements and writings, concealments of facts, possession of a schedule III, IV or V with intent to distribute, possession of a schedule I or II with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, driving while license suspended or revoked and drugs not in original container.
•Dustin Nathaniel Collins, 29, McDonough—operating a vessel under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating a vessel without a throwable device, operating a vessel with improper lights and operating a vessel without a fire extinguisher.
•Scotty Bernard McCoy, 49, Monticello—failure to maintain lane, driving while license suspended or revoked and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•Codie Alexander Jeffares, 25, Monticello—probation violation.
