Persons Are Arrested

It was a rather quiet week for crime, with The News publishing a day early, the arrest list is fairly short. And, only two burglaries were investigated in the week.

Persons who were arrested, and their charges, include:

•Michael Thomas Hinton, 26, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine.

•Pedro Alvarez, 70, Eatonton—expired license and failure to obey traffic control devices.

•Andre Etienne Prevost, 27, Atlanta—probation violation.

•Angela Dawn Edwards, 45, Youngtown, Fla.—failure to appear Magistrate Court bench warrant.

•Cory Marcel Benton, 27, Shady Dale—possession of marijuana less than an ounce, driving on a suspended or revoked license and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

•Telesforo Joben Garcia, 50, Norcross—driving without a valid license.
