Kathleen Elaine Kelley Yarbrough

Kathleen Elaine Kelley Yarbrough, age 76, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018, at her residence.

“Kathy” Yarbrough was born in Matthews, Mo.,, to the late John Kelley and Freida Scott Kelley. She lived in Hogansville for a number of years before moving to Jasper County 16 years ago.

Kathy Yarbrough was an active member and Sunday school teacher of New Rocky Creek Baptist Church. Before retirement, she worked as an administrative assistant for Southern Regional Hospital in Clayton County. Kathy was a huge Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons fan.

She is survived by her sons, Robert L. “Bob” Yarbrough of Mansfield and John D. (April) Yarbrough of Monroe; grandchildren, Jeremy Lee (Kathrin) Cunningham, Meriah Brittney Yarbrough, Anthony James “Tony” (Cassidy) Yarbrough, Kathryn Nichole Yarbrough, Joshua Duncan Yarbrough and Richard Alhric Yarbrough; great-grandchildren, Camron Allan Cunningham, Lilly Ann Cunningham and Chesney Elizabeth Yarbrough; and sister and brother, Brenda Howe of Sutter, Calif. and Ron Kelley of American Fork, Utah.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018, at New Rocky Creek Baptist Church in Mansfield. Interment will be held in the church cemetery. Dr. Randal Reese will officiate.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Cunningham, Duncan Yarbrough, Alhric Yarbrough, Camron Cunningham, Jeff Hauck, Joel Yarbrough and Travis Pierce.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at New Rocky Creek Baptist Church, 190 Rocky Creek Road, Mansfield, Ga. 30055.
