Peggy Billerman Is Interim City Manager

The Monticello City Council voted in a called meeting last Thursday to employ former City Manager Peggy Billerman as the interim city manager until a full time manager can be found.

The city had advertised the position some time ago as Doug White indicated a desire to leave. Ultimately, he applied for the full time job, but no decision has been made.

Council voted previously to advertise through August.
