Deputies Have Busy Weekend; Arrest Several

Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office spent some of their holiday weekend chasing four-wheelers off public roads, and checking on children jumping off Waters Bridge. They also responded to two calls of entering an auto in the last week, and a theft by taking call on Hwy. 212 west. At that call, cash and a check were taken, along with baseball cards, a back-up camera for the truck, and a regular digital camera among other items. Two persons have been named as suspects.

Persons arrested in the last week include:

•Gary Shannon Cruse, 46, Mansfield—aggravated assault and battery.

•Amber Symone Brown, 29, Monticello—criminal damage to property 2nd degree and probation violation.

•Hunter Ray White, 23, Covington—probation violation.

•Regina Denise Tate, 45, Covington—possession of marijuana less than an ounce, failure to maintain lane and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

•Michael Keith Dorough, 28, Flovilla—probation violation.

•Gary Bernard Thompkins, 56, Lithonia—driving while license suspended or revoked and speeding.

•Nicolas Trujillo Salgado, 43, Mariett—possession of marijuana less than an ounce, and hunting out of season.

•Adrian Salgado Trujillo, 46, Marietta—hunting out of season and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Jose Leonel/Luna Rubio, 36, Mableton—hunting without Georgia Migratory Bird stamp, hunting out of season, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, and hunting without a license.

•Baldemar Avila, 32, Marietta—hunting out of season and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Geoffrey Douglas Shedd, 22, McDonough—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and possession of open container.

•Travis Andrews, 36, Monticello—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to wear seatbelt.

•Stanley B. Ganaway, 58, Hampton—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain lane.

•Tonya Diann Martin, 36, White—possession of methamphetamine.

•Joseph Eugene Disharoon, 40, Monticello—battery.

•Crystalann Marie Glaze, 34, Fayetteville—crossing guard lines with weapons, intoxicants or drugs, possession of cocaine and battery.

•Brandon Jacobs Danes, 23, Jackson—hold for Butts Co. Sheriff’s Office.
