Calvin Surroett Hamilton

Calvin Surroett Hamilton, age 22, of Monticello, passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018.

Calvin Hamilton was born in Conyers. He graduated from Jasper County High School in 2014. Calvin worked as a pipe fitter for Pye Barker Fire and Safety in Covington.

Calvin enjoyed life to the fullest, riding four wheelers, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed going to the beach and took his first and favorite trip to Tybee Island. His greatest love was his wife and children whom he dearly loved and cherished.

He is survived by his wife, Hannah Renee Johnson Hamilton of Monticello; children, Hunter John Hamilton and Gracelyn Magnolia Hamilton of Monticello; mother, Audrey Charmaine Baker of Monticello; grandmother, Janice Bedoya of Newborn; brother and sisters, Shawn Hamilton of California, and Alyssa Hamilton and Anjelica Garcia of Monticello; aunts and uncles, Adrienne and Jonathan Brown of Covington, and Eddie and Kris Baker of Covington; and cousins, Austin Brown, MaKayla Brown, Faith Brown, Sarah Grace Baker and Ryan Baker.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, at the Monticello Baptist Church. Pastor Kenneth Meyerholtz will officiate.
