REMEMBERING 9/11

A 911 service was held at Jasper County Fire Service Station 3 in Monticello Tuesday, some 17 years after the Twin Towers were demolished, and some 414 First Responders and countless civilians were killed. The bell was rung to signify each plane crashing, including Flight 11 into the north face of the North Tower of the world Trade Center, and Flight 175 into the south face of the South Tower of the World Trade Center. Also, when Flight 77 crashed into the western side of the Pentagon, and then again as Fight 93 crashed into a field in Shansnksville, Pa.
