Several Are Sentenced in Superior Court Here
Jonas Nigel Smith was sentenced to serve the balance of his previous probation terms which will have him in the state penal system until December 2020, as adjudicated by Judge Brenda Trammell during the September 11 session of Jasper Superior Court.
Already on probation, Mr. Smith was charged with failure to register as a sex offender, possession of marijuana (less than an ounce) and giving false information to a law enforcement officer. For violating probation conditions, his jail sentence was revoked and for the new offenses he was given 10 years of probation.
Bryan Blankenship also had his probation revoked to the state penal system for five years for violating probation conditions that included failure to maintain employment and failure to pay court fines.
Charlie Mell Esco, sentenced to 10 years of probation for two counts of theft by taking and theft by deception. He was also ordered to pay restitution of $4,195 through the probation office for the benefit of a victim.
Hunter Ray White, sentenced to 180 days in state probation detention center for being dismissed from a rehab program after testing positive for alcohol. The sentence was suspended upon successful completion of 180 days in Jasper County jail.
Christopher Mahaffey, sentenced to 150 days in Jasper County jail for failure to report to probation office, failure to make regular payments, failure to complete community service and failure to complete an alcohol evaluation.
Michael Keith Dorough, sentenced to 90 days in the Jasper County jail for violating probation by testing positive for drugs in April and May while he also failed to report to the Barnesville probation office and pay court fines.
Patricia Ann Mize, sentenced to 60 days in the Jasper County jail for failure to report to Eatonton probation office, moved without permission, failure to pay court fines, and failure to complete community service.
Amber Brown, sentenced to 60 days in Jasper County jail for failure to report to probation, failure to pay court fines, and failure to complete GED courses.
Allison Rachels, sentenced to 24 months of probation for four charges on two separate cases including simple assault, terroristic threats (misdemeanor), simple battery, and reckless conduct.
Dustin Kip Trice, sentenced to 12 months for criminal trespass and must pay restitution of $561 and fined $200.
Ernesto Sanchez Trejo, sentenced to 11 months of probation for disorderly conduct. Fined $400.
Bond orders were also established for Kristen Hill, Jarrod Hall, Jeffery Brown, Tiffany Phillips, Kayla Bedingfield, and Calvin Jones.
