Drug Bust Nets Drugs and Gun

Tuesday night the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) Sheriff’s Tactical Squad (STS) team executed a search warrant in the Hillsboro area.
This warrant was the result of an approximately two month long narcotics investigation conducted by the Jasper County Crime Suppression Unit, and continued efforts by Sheriff Donnie Pope to combat methamphetamine and other illegal narcotics here in Jasper County.
Emily Nichole Wood, 28, of Hillsboro was arrested and charged with: sale of methamphetamine (three counts), use of a communication device to facilitate a felony (three counts), and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute (one count)
Justin O’Neil Kennedy, 25, of Hillsboro was arrested and charged with: sale of methamphetamine (two counts), and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute (one count)
Randall Lee Delacerda, 54, of Hillsboro was arrested and charged with: possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute (one count), possession of methamphetamine (one count), and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (one count)
Patricia Ann Delacerda, 59, of Hillsboro was arrested and charged with: possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute (one count),and possession of methamphetamine (one count) .
In addition, deputies with the JCSO investigated several thefts in the last week. There was a report of financial transaction card fraud from a resident on Pelican Circle. A resident on Hwy. 83 North in Shady Dale reported the theft of a bluetooth radio, custom speakers, and a tool box for the bed of a truck.

Another burglary was reported don Hwy. 83 in Monticello where various tools were stolen. In addition, deputies responded to an alarm at A-1 Foods, and theft by receiving after a notice from Covington. Deputies caught the people who had taken several appliances. They also recovered a stolen vehicle on Henderson Mill Road at the Newton/Jasper line.

•David Neil Jalbert, 27, Jackson—probation violation and failure to register as sex offender/failure to comply with requirements.
•Jaanee Monique Chapman, 22, Monticello—possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Quinton Cartez Webb, 30, Jenkinsburg—possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Tony Andrew Thurman, 53, Monticello—probation violation.
•Donice Melvin Nicholson, 57, Newborn—simple battery, cruelty to children 3rd degree and aggravated stalking.
•Owen Roy Daley, Jr., 22, Conyers—probation violation.
•Jay Cecil Montgomery, 49, Covington—probation violation.
•Charles Gorden Massey, III, 24, Covington—tampering with evidence and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.
•Rhonda Desire Martin, 32, Shady Dale—affray.
•Benjamin Lee Perkins, 38, Monticello—aggravated stalking.
•Charles Michael Adams, 46, Newborn—hold for warrant in Henry Co.
•Anthony Lamar Brashear, 27, Covington—driving while license suspended or revoked and speeding.
•Patricia Ann Mize, 35, Gray—possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a Schedule III, IV or V controlled substance with intent to distribute, and possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance with intent to distribute.
