Dawn Lenora Henderson Greenway
Dawn Lenora Henderson Greenway, age 58, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018, at Piedmont Newton Hospital in Covington.
Dawn Greenway was a lifelong resident of Monticello and a member of the Monticello First United Methodist Church.
Dawn loved painting, horseback riding, and caring for animals. She would take care of any stray animals her girls brought home. She was the manager for Circle K for several years.
She is survived by her daughters, Christina Rogers of Monticello, and Teresa (Lance) Harden of Gray; grandsons, Payton Rogers and Bryce Ridgeway of Monticello, and Riggs Harden and Jack Harden of Gray; parents, Carlton and Becky Roper Henderson of Monticello; brothers and sister, Tommy (Felecia) Henderson of Milton, Fla., Jayne (Bob) Hillhouse of Knoxville, Tenn., and Lee Henderson of Monticello; and a niece and nephew, Meghan Henderson Arthur and Andrew Lee Hillhouse.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at the Monticello First United Methodist Church. Interment will be held in West View Cemetery. Dr. Randal Reese will officiate.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Henderson, Tommy Henderson, Payton Rogers, Chris Greenway, Bill Ridgeway, and Bob Hillhouse.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, at Jordan Funeral Home.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to New Rocky Creek Baptist Church, 190 Rocky Creek Road, Mansfield, Ga. 30055; or Monticello First United Methodist Church, 651 College Street, Monticello, Ga. 31064.
