Grand Jury Reconvenes; Indicts Many
The Jasper County Grand Jury, August 2018 Term, convened October 23 to review criminal presentments and decide on indictments.
Indictments included the following:
Ethan Todd Riggs, indicted on six counts including theft by receiving stolen property, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving while license suspended, failure to maintain lane, driving without a license, and improper display of license plates.
James Dermichael Perry, indicted on five counts including criminal attempt to commit a felony, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, tampering with evidence, taillight violation, possession of firearm by convicted felon.
Rodney Andrew Snow, indicted on six counts including burglary in the first degree, burglary in the second degree, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and two counts of crossing the guard line with contraband.
Phillip Hadaway, indicted on five counts including burglary in the first degree, burglary in the second degree, possession of marijuana, crossing the guard line with contraband and possession of firearm by convicted felon.
John Garland Thomason, indicted on two counts including burglary in the first degree and burglary in the second degree.

Sandra Freeman, indicted on two counts including possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of methamphetamine.

Darrante Patterson and Joseph Hickok, indicted on two counts including sale of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.
James Ross Johnson, indicted on four counts including possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction of an officer, and giving false information to a law enforcement officer.
Jennifer Walters, indicted on four counts including possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, two counts of possession of methamphetamine, and tampering with evidence.
Wayne Booth and James Moore, Jr., indicted for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
Timothy Arthur Holbert, Jr., indicted on three counts of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and two counts of possession of methamphetamine.
Samantha Ann Barber and David Gates, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of methamphetamine.
Marcus Campbell, indicted on three counts for battery, family violence, cruelty to children in the third degree, and obstruction of an officer.
Jimmy Dooley, indicted on three counts including possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of firearm by convicted felon.
Crystalann Marie Glaze, indicted on three counts including possession of cocaine, crossing the guard line with contraband, and battery, family violence.
Jason John Peplin, indicted on three counts including simple battery, family violence and two counts of aggravated stalking.
Frances Deanna Mattheus and Melissa Mae Miller, indicted on three counts including sale of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and sale of marijuana.
James Richard Vaughn, indicted on two counts including manufacture of marijuana and possession of marijuana.

John William Coffe, indicted for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
