Ben Perry Gets 13 Right To Win

Ben Perry was the only player to correctly guess the winner in as many as 13 games listed in last week’s Monticello News football contest.

For his effort he picked up a $25 prize from Ashley Nordstrom at Primary Care Center, sponsor of the week.

Mr. Perry beat his wife, Belle, and several others, as well, However, through the course of the contest, Mrs. Perry has done better, as she has three chances to win the grand prize, and Mr. Perry only has two.

Both of them got another chance this week. Seven other people also either had their names added to the Grand Prize Honor roll or had another chance placed beside their name.

If you are not among those, do not despair…there’s still time to have your name added to the Grand Prize Honor Roll for a chance at four premium tickets to the Chick-Fil-A/Peach Bowl in Atlanta on December 29.

This week’s contest may be tough…at least with the high school playoff games. And, who would have guessed last week that the Cleveland Browns, 2-6-1, would beat our Atlatna Falcons? But they did.

So, whoever correctly guesses the winner of the most games listed this week, and turns their entry into The News office by 5 p.m. tomorrow, Nov. 16, will collect a $25 prize from Yoder Door, and have their name added to the grand prize honor roll. In addition, everyone who gets 12 or more right will have their name added to the honor roll.

Entries may be submitted by fax, 706-468-6576, in person at 247 West Washington Street, or by e-mail to info@themonticellonews.com . If you have questions, call us, 706-468-6511.

Be sure to include your name, legibly written, and a phone number where you can be reached during the day on Monday.
