Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting Set

The Dirt Road Social Club will provide entertainment at the Monticello-Jasper County Chamber of Commerce (COC) annual meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 22.

The evening begins with a social hour from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m, then dinner is scheduled until 7:15 p.m. The program will last from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m.

During the program, the Citizen of the Year and Business of the Year will be named, and new COC officers will be installed.

Last year’s business of the year was the Bank of Monticello, and Janet Davis was named Citizen of the Year. Mrs. Davis and two other previous Citizens of the Year will form a committee to determine this year’s honored citizen.

Reservations are required by January 10, and there are only 200 seats available.

The banquet hall is located at 543 Elliott Trail, Mansfield.
