Alexandra Paige Ryles
Alexandra Paige Ryles, our sweet, beautiful Alley, went home to be with our Father in heaven on January 15, 2019.
Alley fought a long hard fight, but never lost her beautiful smile. Alley had a smile that could light up any room or mood. No matter her pain or the events she was going through, she always fought through it with a smile. She was as wild as an alley cat from the time she was born. To many of us that’s who she was, our feisty “Alley Cat”. Alley was our super hero. She was stronger that any of us could have ever imagined.
Alley loved fishing and hunting with her daddy. Sometimes the only way to get her to do her homework was to tell her they would go fishing. Alley had a special way of wrapping her daddy around her finger to get in a fishing trip. She was the best fishing partner any dad could ask for.
Alley had her mama wrapped around her fingers as well. Her mama was her best friend. She loved to make jewelry with her mama, or plant beautiful flowers, or ride around in the old Dodge. Alley would shift the gears while mama worked the clutch.
Alley loved everything to do with the outdoors. She had a love for horses and all animals like no other. She would light up at the sight of all “fur babies” big and small.
She enjoyed riding horses at Brave Meadows Therapeutic Riding Center in Gray. Mrs. Shannon said one of Alley’s favorite things to do while at the center was to hold the silkies. She was as tough as a junkyard dog and could hang with her two brothers no matter the adventure they were on.
She loved going to visit with Ma and Pop and watch her favorite cartoons and Raising Hope. She loved to dance and sing with her cousins and take funny selfies. Alley touched so many lives. She made such an impact and everyone was blessed to have met her. She had a love for everyone and everything that is as everlasting as the rising sun.
We have the comfort of knowing that Alley is waiting on us in heaven at the best fishing pond her daddy always talked to her about. Alley was preceded in death by her grandmother, Debra Sue Ryles, her aunt Jenna Helen Ryles and her uncle Christopher Charlie Ryles.
A graveside service for Alley was held Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019 at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens (Hwy 16 across from the old VFW) with Terry Ryles III officiating.
Alley is survived by her parents Timothy and Carrie Hunnicutt of Eatonton, her two brothers Raymond Ewing and Charlie Williams, both of Eatonton, grandparent Raymond Ryles, Sr. of Shady Dale, and Calvin and Francis Hunnicutt of Eatonton, also Pam Holland and sons, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins who she loved and who loved her.
