Gerald Stunkel Seeks Commission Seat

Businessman Gerald Stunkel of 347 Starling Drive, Monticello, announces he will be running in the upcoming special election for the District 4 County Commissioner seat.

Mr. Stunkel has been a resident of Jasper County since 2002, and is the owner of Covered Wagon Trucking, Inc. in Jackson. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a degree in Political Science Pre-Law.

Mr. Stunkel has been married to his wife, Alicia, for 24 years. They have one son, who is a junior in college
