District 4 Election Set

No county wide election will be held for Probate Court because only Andrea Brown qualified, however, voters in District 4 will go to the polls to elect a commissioner.

Gerald Stunkel, who had previously announced his intention to run qualified, as did Willie Lee Simmons.

The special election is necessary because of the resignation of District 4 Commissioner Craig Salmon.

The election will be held Tuesday, March 19. Early voting will start next week.
