Jason Heath Mobley

Jason Mobley, age 43, of Elizabeth City, N.C. passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019.

He was born in Atlanta on December 6, 1975 to Howard Mobley and Judy Hunnicutt. Mr. Mobley grew up in Monticello, graduated from Rutledge Academy, and served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a great, well rounded athlete and an excellent baseball player.

Jason attended the Monticello Baptist Church and was a big fan of the University of Georgia football team. In his spare time, he was an avid fisherman.

Mr. Mobley has been preceded in death by his father Howard Mobley and infant brother and sister.

Mr. Mobley is survived by his mother and stepfather, Judy and Dennis Hunnicutt, his brother Chad Mobley and his wife Julie, sister Frankie Hunnicutt, and his nieces and nephews Cameron Mobley, Bailey Mobley, Abby Cooley and Jeffery Cooley.
