Christopher De’Von Porter was born March 30, 1996 to the parentage of Courtney and Tina Porter. Christopher gained his wings in the early morning of May 17, 2019.

Christopher was known for his great smile and charm as well as his fearless ways, who never met a stranger. Chris had a passionate mentality and courageous personality. Chris was an all around active person.

He played football, enjoyed riding motorcycles, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Whether it was two or four wheels, he was always on the go.

Christopher attended First Assembly Church in Griffin, where he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. Chris attended Jasper County High School and later graduated from Newnan High School in 2014. Chris attended Point University, where he expressed his talents as an awesome defensive end for the Point University Seahawks.

Later, Chris played semi-pro football for the Georgia Knights of Atlanta, which led to the Rivals Professional Football League. There, he played for the Atlantic Sharks and the Detroit Cougars.

Christopher leaves cherished memories to his mother, Tina Pennamon of Macon; father, Courtney Porter (Angelicia) of Newnan; five brothers, Courtney, Caleb, Jaden, Jason and Jaxen Porter; one sister, Tamika Porter. Also, grandparents, Alice Cotton, Eddie Frank Smith and Courtney Porter, Sr.; a special uncle, Eric Dotson, whom he often cruised with; his soul-mate, Kayla Hunt and her son, Phoenix Teagle; which Christopher considered as his own. Also, a host of uncles, aunts, great-uncles, great-aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, a very special friend, Chase Helms; and other close friends as well.
