Hwy. 11 Thefts Are Reported

Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) investigated burglaries on Hwy. 11 north and south in the last week.

From an address on Hwy. 11 south, numerous guns and some jewelry were taken. A gun was also taken from an address on Hwy. 11 north. Also, a case of financial transaction card fraud was reported near Shady Dale.

Rarely a week goes by that someone doesn’t report their card being compromised, so users are encouraged to keep an eye on their transactions at all times and to protect their cards by keeping them in a safe place.
