Persons Are Arrested

Thefts were at perhaps an all time low this week, as only a financial identity fraud was reported to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) in the last week.

However, crime always continues, and the following people were booked in to the Jasper County Jail in the last week. Those people, and their charges, include:

•Altavious D’eontea Brown, 20, Jackson—aggravated assault and battery.

•Gary Michael Cox, 23, Warner Robins—probation violation.

•Jennifer Marie Joyner, 35, Monticello—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

•James Brian Jenkins, 47, Covington—possession of methamphetamine (two counts), possession of marijuana less than an ounce, and crossing guard lines with weapons/intoxicants or drugs.

•Larry Donald Wages, 57, Mansfield—possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Virginia Evans Wages, 59, Mansfield—possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Lois Marie Gignac, 55, Newborn—criminal trespass.

•Marvis Armel Wyman, 38, Monticello—criminal trespass.

•Larry Granger Christmas, 34, Madison—driving while license suspended or revoked and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

•Matthew William Anderson, 27, Forsyth—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

•Richard Franklin, 60, Lake Spivey—failure to maintain lane, possession of marijuana less than an ounce and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

•Michael Shane Parker, 41, Jackson—probation violation.

•George Maurice Alexander, Jr., 54, Atlanta—Jasper County Superior Court failure to appear bench warrant.
