Superior Court Sentences Handed Down
Judge Alison Burleson had a brief day on the bench reviewing the motion day and criminal calendars on July 30.
During criminal action sentencing, the following sentences were ordered:
Kristen Williams, two years of probation for possession of methamphetamine. Fined $800.
Charles Blalock, one year of probation for terroristic threats (misdemeanor) and battery, family violence. Fined $500.
Kevin Berry, one year of probation for giving false information to law enforcement. Fined $300. A charge of simple battery was nolle prossed and credited for time served since April 2019.
Gary L. Baker, II, sentenced to eight years with the first 60 days in Jasper County jail for sale of methamphetamine, and two counts of possession of methamphetamine. credited with time served.
Probation revocations included:
Roger Wilkerson, probation revoked to state penal system for two years for termination from the Bainbridge substance abuse treatment center.
Dwight Jones, probation revoked to the state penal system until May 2022 for two new offenses in March and July for several drug possession charges.
Charlie Esco, provoked to 180 days in Jasper County jail suspended upon entry into a state probation center center for 180 days for a drug possession charge and failure to pay court fees.
Michael Parker, probation revoked to 120 days in Jasper County jail for failure to pay court fees and failure to report to probation.
Jeremy Mann, probation revoked to 120 days in Jasper County jail for two new offenses including driving under the influence and positive drug test.
Tavoris Whidby, probation revoked to 60 days in Jasper County jail for failure to report to probation, failure to complete drug classes and a positive drug test.
Jason Chapman, probation revoked to 60 days in Jasper County jail for failure to pay court fees, failure to complete anger management and positive drug test.
