School Board To Meet Next Tuesday

The Jasper County School Board met for its monthly work sessionon August 6, and will have its regular business meeting next Tuesday, Aug. 20, at 6 p.m. at the Board Office. Much of what was discussed in the work session will be acted on next week.

However, some personnel action was taken at the work session. It includes:

New Hires:

•Jamie Farnsworth, substitute custodian, Jasper County Board of Education

•Ty Snyder, Executive Director of Teaching, Learning and Instructional Technology, 49 percent

• Alex Smith, custodian, Jasper County Middle School

•Tiffany Anderson, School Nutrition Assistant Manager, Washington Park Elementary School.

Also, they accepted the resignation of Cindy Standifer, Substitute Food Assistant, Washington Park Elementary School.
