Grand Jury Indicts 20
The Jasper County Grand Jury convened last week for the August 2019 Term to consider a total of 22 bills of indictments of which 20 were true-billed.
Presenting indictments were District Attorney (DA) Stephen Bradley, Assistant DA Brent Cochran, and Victims’ Advocate Gay Mooney who were assisted by the Jasper County Sheriff Office and bailiffs.
Indictments include:
•Otis Alexander, indicted on eight counts including four counts obstruction of an officer, two counts each of terroristic threats and criminal trespass.
•Ann Bach, indicted on seven counts including four counts of criminal attempt to commit a felony, possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to distribute (WID), possession of cocaine WID, and possession of marijuana WID.
•Kory Wilson, indicted on seven counts including three counts of simple battery, family violence, two counts each of aggravated assault and cruelty to children in third degree.
•Jamel Brooks, indicted on nine counts including possession of methamphetamine WID, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance WID, possession of marijuanan, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, two counts each of posession of firearm during comission of felony and possession of firearm by convicted felon during crime.
•Michael Reese. indicted on six counts including possession of methamphetamine WID, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance WID, possession of marijuana, and two counts of posdession of firearm during commission of felony.
•Richard Autry, indicted on seven counts including two counts each of false imprisonment and possession of firearm by convicted felon, pointing gun at another, hunting out of season, and possession of methamphetamine WID.
•Cody Chapman, indicted on three counts including possession of methamphetamine WID, aggravated assault, and simple battery.
•Geobran Downs, indicted on five counts includingattempting to elude an officer, driving under the influence (less safe), failure to stop at sign, speeding, and open container.
•Calvin Jones, indicted on four counts including sale of marijuana, distribution of imitation controlled substances, possession of methamphetamine WID, and possession of marijuana WID.
•Kayla Bedingfield, indicted on four counts including two counts each of sale of methamphetamine and sale of marijuana.
•Heather Stinnett, indicted on four counts including possession of methamphetamine WID, failure to dim headlights, auxiliary driving light violation, and improper headlights.
•Joshua Williams, indicted on two counts including possession of methamphetamine WID and giving false information to an officer.
•Emanuel Jefferies, indicted on three counts including possession of marijuana WID, possession of firearm during commission of felony, and theft by receiving stolen property.•Valentin Funes, indicted on three counts including disorderly conduct, crossing the guard line with contraband, and possession of methamphetamine.
•Tyler Fetner, indicted on two counts including aggravated assault and aggravated battery.
•Omarian Ngalamulume, Kelby Williams, Alexandra Kelly, all indicted for distribution of imitation controlled substances. Ngalamulume was also indicted for robbery by force.
•Melvin Cummings and Jaquana Simmons, both indicted on two counts including possession of marijuana WID and possession of marijuana.
•Tramont Gayton and Anquenette Hughes, both indicted for possession of marijuana. Gayton also indicted for driving while license suspended.
•Ronald Maddox, indicted on two counts including distribution of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine WID.
• Jaylin Thurman, indicted on two counts including discharge of gun near highway and possession of firearm by convicted felon.
•Paulina Sheppard and Kaitlin Boggs, both indicted for possession of marijuana WID.
•Ramon Jackson, indicted for terroristic threats.
•Harry Cordes, indicted for sale of methamphetamine.
•Kurt Brown, indicted for sexual assault by person with supervisory authority.
•Danny Anderson, indicted for aggravated stalking.
