Lamar Ward

A celebration of life for Lamar Ward, who died October 16, 2019, was held Saturday, oct. 19, at the chapel of Smith and Sons Funeral Home in Monticello. Rev. Deck Jackson officiated; burial was in South View Cemetery.

Mr. Ward was born August 21, 1960, to Brown Clemons and Virginia Ward, both of whom are deceased. He was also preceded in death by a brother, WIllie Ward.

Lamar leaves to cherish his memories three brothers, Johnny Ward of Monticello, Lonnie Ward of Cleveland, Ohio, and Dandy Ward of Eatonton, and his beloved aunt, “Shug” Middlebrooks.

Smith and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
