Artee “Teedy” Lisvey, III

A homegoing celebration for Artee “Teedy” Lisvey, III, was conducted on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019 at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary in Greenville, S.C.; interment at New Community Cemetery in Hillsboro. Graveside service was held on October 29.

Mr. Lisvey, 33, passed away on October 16, 2019. He was the son of Geneva Johnson Miller and the late Artee Lisvey, Jr.

Mr. Lisvey was a graduate of Greenville High School and was employed at Advance Pierre. He attended Victory Temple Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ava T. Lisvey; his grandmothers, Maggie Ruth Wise, Gussie Slaughter, and Kate Johnson; two grandfathers, Artee Lisvey Sr., and Vince Johnson, and daddy in heaven, Edward B. Cantrell.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are his mother, Geneva (L.C.) Miller of Monticello; two daughters, Jaden Lisvey and Khloe Lisvey, both of Greenville, S.C.; three sons, Xavier Hagerman, King Lisvey and Treven Lisvey, also all of Greenville, S.C.; three sisters, Melissa Lisvey of Shady Dale, Prima Lisvey and Antranice Lisvey, both of Georgia; two brothers, Bernard Marquel Cantrell of Greenville, S.C., and Damon Hall of Atlanta; four aunts, Kathy Martinez, Patsy Lisvey, both of Atlanta, Annie L. King of Lilburn, Robin Green and Wanda; five uncles, Roy Johnson of Avondal, Vince Johnson of Ellenwood, Howard Cantrell of Greenville, S.C., Calvin Lisvey of Atlanta, and Douglas Lisvey of Stone Mountain, and a host of other relatives and friends.
