The Canes ended this year’s football season in style on Friday night with a 50-20 win over Social Circle on Senior Night.
An interception by Canes senior Jordan Mitchell in the first few minutes of the game started things off for the Canes and set the pace of the game for Monticello. The Hurricanes capitalized on Mitchell’s early interception with Mario Greene taking the ball into the end zone on a 20 yard rushing touchdown for their first of seven touchdowns made up of six rushing touchdowns and one passing.
By halftime the Canes were up 36-7.
