Sharon Martinez Smith

Sharon Martinez Smith, 60, of Monticello, died November 28 at home surrounded by her loved ones.

The beloved wife, mother and grandmother was a homemaker. She moved to Turtle Cove about 13 years ago from Stone Mountain. She loved her grandchildren, and she loved lady bugs. She enjoyed sitting in the garden, enjoying the fruits of her husband’s labor.

Survivors include her husband, Alan Smith of Monticello; daughters, Tabitha Potter of Loganville; Lacey Hardin of Houston, Tex., Alexandria Smith of Monticello; son, Billy Brodnax of Snellville; grandchildren, Aida, Liam, Lily, Abigail, Astrid, Grace, Logan, Blake and Kaylee and sister, Felicia.

A private family memorial service was held. She is very much missed.
