Jesse James Holman

Jesse James Holman, age 29, passed away suddenly January 1, 2020, at Jasper Memorial Hospital.

Jesse Holman was born in Covington and a lifelong resident of Jasper County. He received his associate’s degree in welding. He worked as a welder for Stair South, Incorporated.

Jesse loved to fish, living in the country and sitting on the front porch with his mother, Felicia. He loved people and never met a stranger. Above all, he loved his family and spending time with them; especially the children.

He is survived by his fiancée, Rene Swilley and her children, Aiden Kirk and Lily Kirk of Monticello; parents, David Michael and Felicia Cash Holman of Monticello; grandmother, Donna Holman of Monticello; brothers and sister, Michael Clay (Aleashia) Holman, Hali Holman and David Ty (Madison) Holman of Monticello; nieces and nephews, Paisleigh Belle Holman, Lacy Ann Holman, Adalynn Jean Holman, Jace Talon Castellana and Kylie Jo Castellana; and aunts and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, at the chapel of Jordan Funeral Home. Ken Sanvidge will officiate. Interment will be held in the family cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Howie Knight, Dylan Dunbar, Travis Dunkin, Michael White, R. J. Brooks and Ryan Sutton.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 6, 2020, at Jordan Funeral Home.

In lieu of cut flowers, the family requests flowers for Jesse’s Memorial Garden.
