Donna Sue Strawhun

Donna Sue Strawhun, age 79, of Snellville, passed away January 19, 2020, at home.

Mrs. Strawhun was born in Rolla, Missouri to the late Joseph Oliver Strawhun and Pearl Anita Webber Strawhun. She lived in Stone Mountain for over 20 years before moving in with her sister, Sandra. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Strawhun.

She attended Mt. Carmel Christian Church in Stone Mountain. She was one of the first single women in Georgia to adopt. She loved cats and enjoyed painting, cross-stitching, and cooking.

She is survived by daughters, Carrie (James) Bell of Loganville and Kim (John “J. R.” Honaker) Strawhun of Loganville; grandchildren, Chloe Honaker, Mickey Anderson, Christian Strawhun, Heather Lowery, Kendall Porter and Savannah Bell; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn and Brantley Lowery; and sister, Sandra Strawhun of Snellville.
