Action Is Taken in Court

Judge Terry Massey presided over a session of Jasper Superior Court on May 12.

There were less than 10 civil and criminal cases to review which resulted in the following sentences:

Noah Cloud, one year of probation for lesser offense of disorderly conduct. Fined $400.

Robert Malcom, probation revoked to 30 days in the Jasper County jail for failure to adhere to specific court ordered instructions including completing the Matrix program. Upon completion, the defendant must enroll and complete the Matrix class.

The next session of Jasper Superior Court will be held on Tuesday, June 9 beginning at 9 a.m. in the Courthouse, and will be held via Zoom.
