D. Driskell Is Assistant 911 Director

The Jasper County 911 Authority voted last Thursday to offer the position of Assistant Director of the 911 center to Denise Driskell. Ms. Driskell accepted the position.

She is very dependable and trustworthy and just like myself, said Betty Jump, 911 director who made the recommendation.

“911 is in her blood and will always be who she is. This lady has worked a 24-hour shift straight because it had to be done and the citizens of our county had to be protected!”

Ms. Driskell has already stepped up handling some of Ms. Jump’s duties during her illness and will continue to do so under her direction when Ms. Jump is out of the office for sickness, in class or on vacation. She will continue to be a Telecommunications Officer like she has been for 22 years at the 911 Center but a total of 37 years in Jasper County!
