Busy, Busy, Busy

Busy. Busy. Busy. Most of us define our lives this way.
As I write this and we face the uncertainty of the Covid-19 virus, our lives are not as busy. We are having the most family time we have experienced in a very long time. It’s a time for parents to spend more time with their children and with one another.
It’s a time for us to love, value, and cherish those around us, for we know not what tomorrow may bring.
What tomorrow will bring is something that we cannot know, with or without a pandemic. Whatever we face today or whatever we face tomorrow happens when it happens. The only thing we can do is to prepare as best we can for whatever the future holds for us at any time in our lives. Buying and hoarding food, toilet tissue, etc., will not necessarily help us in the future.
The only sure thing that will help us is our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. For whether we live or we die, in Christ, we fear nothing. God is with us whatever we go through each and every day.
There is no better time for us to improve our relationship with Jesus than now, today. We have more available time to read the Bible and to reflect on this life given to us by God and what God will provide us in our relationship with Him. Take advantage of this opportunity.
Learn that our Lord will not abandon you. He loves you, and He will be with you through the good times and the bad times. When all is said and done, He will give you the gift of a wonderful life in heaven for eternity.
This life does not end for any of us at physical death. Once our bodies cease to function and we pass away, we pass on to heaven or hell for eternity. My prayer is that all who read this, will pass on to heaven because they have chosen a real and meaningful relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
If you want to know my Jesus and more about heaven and eternal life, call a pastor and allow the pastor to help you draw nearer to God. Fear not friends. If God is with us, we will be okay, whatever the future holds.
May God bless each of you during this difficult time in our nation. Amen.
