All God’s Creatures Have A Purpose

I walked out during my lunch hour recently to view a beautiful blue sky. Here and there a few puffy white clouds passed by. As I looked closer, I saw contrails streaming behind jets far up in the atmosphere. What a God!

He created this beautiful world we live in. He gave people the intellect to create these big mechanical birds to fly us from one location to another.

He also gave us the beautiful birds around us to enjoy both their looks and their songs each and every day.

One of the birds that I enjoy watching on beautiful blue sky days with puffy white clouds is a bird that many would not consider much to view—the buzzard. I love watching buzzards fly. They soar along with such grace among the clouds and sky. It’s amazing how high up in the atmosphere they can go. At times, they simply disappear because they are so high up. An amazing bird created by God for us.

This not-so-glamorous bird does a lot for us. God created it to soar the skies, but also to clean up road kills for us. Our roads would not be a pretty sight if it were not for the Lord’s road department working to keep it clean of deceased animals. Think about that.

Long before automobiles were invented and we started hitting and killing animals, the Lord was way ahead of us. He created the beautiful buzzard for a purpose. Likewise, he creates all of us for a purpose and that purpose may not always be glamorous.

God created you for a purpose. You are beautiful in his sight. Even if you feel like a buzzard, God can and will use you, if you allow Him. For neither the buzzard, me, or you, is ugly in His sight. We were created beautifully and for a purpose. Find your purpose and help God during these difficult days as He seeks to help others in need.

May God bless each of you during this difficult time in our nation. Amen.
