Margaret Lois Jenkins Parris

Margaret Lois Jenkins Parris, age 94, passed away Monday, August 3, 2020, at The Retreat Nursing Home.

Margaret Parris was born in Atlanta, on January 24, 1924, to the late Carl Greene Jenkins and Cleo Irene Berry Jenkins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leamon Ira Parris; brothers, C.G. Jenkins, Jr., Marvin Jenkins, Jerry Jenkins and Larry Jenkins; sisters, Lucile Powell, Helen Phillips and Francis Hamrick.

She is survived by her children, Leamon Eugene (Mena) Parris of Decatur, Lynn (Mike) Spurr of Cumming, Michael Parris of Cumming and Judy (Butch) Wiggins of Monticello; sister, Shirley Jenkins McCurry of Jonesboro; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, August 6, 2020, at Green Lawn Cemetery and Mausoleum 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, Ga. 30076.
