Persons Are Arrested

Jasper County deputies are investigating the theft of a car from an address on Hwy. 11 south, as well as the theft of a gun and a prescription for a controled substance from a similar vehicle at the same address.

In incident reports provided to The News, it turns out roommates had occasion to call law enforcement two days in a row. Also, fraudulent activity was reported at an address on Forsyth Street in Monticello. In addition, clothing items were taken from a building on Robby Street, and an identity fraud was reported at an in-town address.

Persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:

•Terrell Eugene Stinson, 57, Shady Dale—possession of cocaine and possession of a Schedule I controled substance.

•Christon Jamel Gude, 19, Monticello—battery.

•Michael Keshawn Slaughter, 23, Hampton—possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Gary Donald Locklear, 70, Monticello—probation violation.

•Douglas Lee Taylor, 21, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine.

•Christina Elisabeth Dunn, 41, Braselton—probation violation.
