Mrs. Ella Pearl Lyons Adams

A celebration of life for Mrs. Ella Pearl Lyons Adams was held Saturday, Oct. 3, at Shady Dale Community Cemetery in Shady Dale. Rev. Tracy Adams officiated.

Mrs. Adams was born on October 29, 1947 to the parentage of the late Tim Lyons and Inez Dorsey. She died September 29 at Piedmont Hospital in Covington.

Mrs. Adams loved cooking and working in her flower garden. Ella Pearl was a loving provider for her sister and son, Michael. She loved going to church where she was a devoted member for years. She also worked at Georgia-Pacific for a number of years.

Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by a brother, Rudy Lyons, and by two sisters, Ruby Lyons and Buela Mae Lyons.

She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted husband, Tarcy Adams; son, Michael Lyons of Shady Dale; a sister, Nancy Lyons of Shady Dale and a host of other relatives and friends.

Smith and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
