Deadline To Register To Vote Is Monday

The deadline to register to vote and be able to vote in the January 5, 2021 Senate run-off election is next Monday, Dec. 7. This applies to all new registrations or for those new residents who have not yet changed their address.

With the upcoming holidays, the schedule for early voting will be as follows:

Monday, Dec. 14 thorugh Friday, Dec. 18, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21 through Wednesday, Dec. 23, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Monday, Dec. 28 through Thursday, Dec. 31, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The drop boxes are open and on both sides of the Courthouse if you have absentee ballots to deposit.

All ballots must be in by 7 p.m. on election day, January 5, 2021, in order to be counted.

Voters will choose between Republican Kelly Loeffler and Democrat Ralphael Warnock as well as choosing either incumbent Republican David Perdue or Democratic challenger Jon Ossoff.
