Jennifer Allen Seeks Commission Seat

Jennifer Allen has qualified for District 1 County Commissioner.

Mrs. Allen grew up in Loganville. She and her husband, Anthony have been married for 19 years. They moved to Jasper County 13 years ago from Newton County. They have two children. One is a senior at Jasper County High School and the other is in eighth grade at Jasper County Middle School.

She has an Associate Degree from Georgia Perimeter College in Business and a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Macon State College.

Mrs. Allen is a partner in a small internet based auto parts business. She currently serves on the Jasper County Planning and Zoning Board of Appeals.

Her goal as a County Commissioner is to represent all of the District 1 constituents to the best or her ability. One item close to her heart is to “help find ways to keep our children here in Jasper County.”

Monticello and Jasper County remind her of what it was like growing up in Loganville and she wants to keep the small town feeling where everyone is “family” yet have controlled growth.
